Barry
and Jenny Dunnett
We have lived in Kaikoura since 1971, raising a family
of four on our 12
acres of land in the country. We are very devoted outdoor
enthusiasts, with a long involvement in tramping and
conservation pursuits.
Barry, once a High School Science/Outdoor teacher, is
author of the local guide book "Kaikoura Walks
and Climbs".
We have extensively planted trees and shrubs on our
land to enhance the birdlife. Our recent passion is
to help with bird restoration in the area, working with
a project which began in 2002.
Accommodation can be offered for 2-4 people at
Bellbird
Cottage.
Bellbird Cottage is a self-contained cottage on our
property, in a lovely,
quiet setting of native and exotic trees. It has two
bedrooms, sleeping
2-4 people, kitchen and bathroom. The tariff is $95
a double, including
self-serve breakfast.
